Overview
Hami Dingxin Copper Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) was established on November 4, 2004, in Hami, Xinjiang. The Company is located approximately 120 km southwest (210° direction) of Hami City, adjacent to Provincial Highway 235.
The Company is jointly invested by five shareholders, including Xinjiang Jujin Investment Co., Ltd. and China Railway 19th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of RMB 600 million. Its business scope includes copper mining, processing and sales of copper products (self-produced only), production and sales of electrolytic copper (self-produced only), as well as water supply.
On April 9, 2025, construction of the Yandong Copper Mine project officially commenced. Upon completion, the project will integrate with the existing production capacity to achieve an annual output of 50,000 tons of copper metal, making it the largest copper production base in Xinjiang.
The Company holds the mining rights for both the Tuwu Copper Mine and the Yandong Copper Mine in Hami.
The Tuwu Copper Mine has copper reserves of approximately 932,000 tons and an annual ore processing capacity of 4 million tons.
The Yandong Copper Mine covers an initial area of 2.17 km², with an annual ore processing capacity of 5 million tons and copper reserves of approximately 1.64 million tons.
The combined copper reserves of the Tuwu–Yandong mining area exceed 2.5 million tons, accounting for approximately 3.1% of China’s currently proven copper resources.
To evaluate the performance of flotation columns in copper-molybdenum separation, Dingxin Copper has established a dedicated flotation column pilot test line. After several rounds of technical discussions, the Company decided to adopt the flotation column developed by Jumu Mining for experimental research.
The aerated pilot flotation column developed by Jumu Mining generates bubbles through the instantaneous release of high-pressure gas, making it particularly suitable for fine particles with a high degree of liberation.
To address the industry challenge of large sample consumption in flotation column testing, this system incorporates a dual-mode testing design. In circulation mode, the required sample volume can be significantly reduced, effectively solving the difficulty of conducting flotation column condition tests.
This type of pilot flotation column offers excellent separation performance, simple operation, convenient maintenance, and a high level of automation. It is especially well-suited for laboratory and pilot-scale research.
The system can be used either as a standalone unit or in modular combinations. Depending on the characteristics of the ore, the flotation process can be adjusted quickly and flexibly.
This new type of pilot flotation column has already been successfully applied in several domestic research institutes and universities, receiving positive market feedback.
