Many users of pneumatic flotation columns reported that the bubble sparger could not be pulled out of the locking sleeve smoothly during the replacement process. In order to replace the sparger, the locking-head could only be removed together. The pulp was easy to be ejected, and the maintenance environment was poor, difficult, and there were potential safety hazards.
In response to this problem, our company went to the site for many times to collect customers' opinions. We learned that the old locking sleeve uses O-ring to lock the outer vent pipe seal of the sparger (the inner diameter of the sealing ring and the outer diameter of the outer pipe of the ejector are 22mm). After more than one month of use, the sealing ring and the outer pipe of the ejector are stuck, resulting in the failure to pull out the outer pipe of the sparger. It is very difficult to replace the sparger.
The sealing mode of the newly upgraded sparger locking head has been changed. When the locking sleeve is opened, the full diameter is 25mm, and a 3mm gap is maintained with the outer pipe of the sparger.
According to the feedback from customers on site, the sparger can be inserted and removed freely, and the replacement process is convenient and easy.
